Ensure MFA is enabled for all IAM users with console access

Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of protection for users who can access the AWS console. It combines something they know (password) with something they have (MFA device).

Security Impact

Users without MFA are vulnerable to password-based attacks including phishing and credential theft.

How to Remediate

Enable MFA for all IAM users who have console password enabled. Each user should configure their own MFA device through the console or CLI.
